What do I need to do to support the new National Suicide Prevention Lifeline?

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted 988 as a new three-digit number to be used nationwide to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, by July 16, 2022.

Spectrum Business for enterprise phone services supports the new 988 hotline. If your area code used to allow 7-digit dialing, 10-digit local dialing must now be used. You can find a list of impacted area codes in the FCC's fact sheet.
