Compliant connectivity for federal procurement
GSA EIS Contract Vehicle
Spectrum Business is an authorized provider through the GSA Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) contract vehicle — the federal government's primary vehicle for telecommunications and network services. Federal agencies can procure Spectrum's Fiber Internet, SD-WAN and managed security services directly through EIS without a separate RFP process.
TIC 3.0 Alignment
Spectrum's network solutions align with CISA's Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) 3.0 guidance, supporting Traditional TIC, Branch Office and Remote User use cases with built-in security controls mapped to agency requirements.
Zero Trust Architecture
Spectrum's SD-WAN and SASE offerings support Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementations by enabling identity-verified, device-aware and policy-enforced access across federal networks — consistent with Executive Order 14028 (Improving the Nation's Cybersecurity).
FISMA and FedRAMP Alignment
Network services support FISMA compliance requirements. Cloud connectivity options support FedRAMP-aligned environments, enabling agencies to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for connected cloud workloads.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Spectrum Business is an authorized EIS provider. Federal agencies can procure Spectrum's dedicated fiber internet, SD-WAN, unified communications and managed security services through the EIS contract vehicle without conducting a separate competitive procurement.
Spectrum's Dedicated Fiber Internet for federal agencies scales from 25 Mbps to 100 Gbps with symmetric upload and download speeds. Agencies receive a private, unshared fiber connection backed by a 100% uptime SLA and a 4-hour mean time to restore guarantee.
Yes. Spectrum's network architecture supports TIC 3.0 implementation for Traditional TIC, Branch Office, and Remote User use cases. Spectrum's SD-WAN and SASE capabilities support Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) in alignment with CISA guidance and Executive Order 14028.
Secure Dedicated Fiber Internet combines Spectrum's dedicated fiber connection with integrated cybersecurity capabilities — including WAN edge security, secure remote access and SASE — in a single managed service. For federal agencies handling sensitive or classified data, this eliminates the need to layer a separate security overlay on top of a standard fiber connection.
Unlike broadband internet service (BIS) where bandwidth is shared with neighboring organizations, Spectrum's dedicated fiber provides a private connection — bandwidth is not affected by adjacent commercial or government traffic. This matters for federal agencies requiring consistent performance during peak hours or running latency-sensitive applications like real-time video, VoIP, or mission-critical operational systems.
Yes. Spectrum Business supports multi-site federal deployments with centralized SD-WAN management, unified billing, and carrier and geographic network diversity to ensure resilience across locations. Dedicated federal account teams manage enterprise-scale deployments.
13-hour mean time to restore service-level agreement.
2100% uptime SLA guarantee applies only to Dedicated Fiber Internet, Secure Dedicated Fiber Internet, Ethernet Services, Cloud Connect and Enterprise Trunking.
