What do I need to know about SSIDs?

  • Multiple SSIDs can be created based on your specific needs.
  • SSIDs can be broadcast (public) or not broadcast (private)
  • Managed WiFi may provide a separate SSID for employee Internet Access. A second WLAN will be created on the wireless network with its own VLAN assigned. The service does not provide support for connectivity to any device (Printers, Laptops, Computers, Routers).
