What is a DA?

DA stands for Digital Adapter (DA). The DA is a low cost, one-way device which converts digital signals into analog. This process will allow customers, who do not wish to subscribe to Digital Cable packages, to continue to receive the reclaimed analog channels. In addition, Digital Cable customers can use DAs on their televisions that do not have a STB connected. DAs will not support advanced features such as SDV, VOD, IPG, or CableCARDs. Customers wishing to take advantage of these services will have to lease a STB from Spectrum Business for enterprise.
