How can I troubleshoot my Spectrum Unified Communications service?

Single Spectrum VoIP Phone Issues

  • Verify the phone has power.
  • If the phone is not receiving power, your IT team may attempt to plug the phone directly into the Spectrum provided Point of Entry (POE) switch to identify a potential internal cabling issue.

  • Some single phone issues can be resolved by following the Quick Start Guides for your specific phone. 

 

Full UC service outage

In the case of no UC services, follow the steps below: 

  • Verify all Spectrum UCS equipment has power, including:
    • Spectrum VGW (Voice Gateway)
    • Spectrum POE Switch
    • Spectrum VOIP Phones
